These online shopping terms and conditions apply to all purchases ordered online from Zaptly. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
You are required to register with us before placing your first order online.

Terms and Conditions of Zaptly
Detailed description of goods and/or services
Zaptly is a business in the services industry that supports business development.
Online Registration
Registration on our online shopping site is conditional upon your specified delivery address being within certain specified areas. If your delivery address is not in an area where we deliver, your registration will not be completed. After you have registered, should you change your delivery address to an address which is not in an area where we deliver, your order will not be accepted. To register you will be required to provide certain information including personal details, payment card details and your delivery address. When registering with us you will be required to provide an email address and a password. Please keep your password private. Zaptly accepts no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from the use or misuse of your password. You will be required to enter your email address and password each time you visit our online shopping site. To amend any registration particulars please click on “My Account” and edit your details.
Product Sales and Availability
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa. All prices shown on our website are quoted in South African Rands and are valid and effective only in the Republic of South Africa. We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our products and services from time to time without notice. We will inform you as soon as possible if any products or services ordered by you are not available.
Stock Availability
We cannot always guarantee availability of stock but low stock and alternatives will be displayed online.
Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products that appear on our website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on the device that you use to access our website, we cannot warrant that your device’s display of any colour will be accurate.
Content Errors
We regret that no order will be accepted if we identify a material error in the description of any of our goods or services or their prices on our website. Packaging may vary from that shown on our website.
Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 14 days and delivery confirmed by way The Courier Guy.
Zaptly delivers from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. till 8 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. Deliveries do not occur on Public Holidays as stipulated by the laws of South Africa
Deliveries will take 14 days unless otherwise stipulated by the courier at checkout of your order. Furniture items may be subject to longer waiting periods. If there are any production delays the customer will be notified accordingly, these will be stipulated during purchase.
We only deliver to registered customers within certain specified delivery areas. On delivery of the order to the specified delivery address, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax and the amount debited from your payment card. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to that effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge. Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. On delivery, we will require you or your authorised representative to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt.
Contactless authorisation will be accepted, however a photo of the delivered goods will be taken with an indication of the person and or the street address delivered to.
We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
If you are for any reason dissatisfied with an item purchased from our website you may request a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 14 (fourteen) days of purchase.
Please note that items purchased on our Sale are subject to a separate returns policy. Should you not have an invoice, we will be happy to exchange your purchase at the current system price. For hygiene reasons underwear (excluding bras), and earrings for pierced ears may not be returned or exchanged. Gift cards purchased will not be refunded. If you require an exchange of item due to size or default issues, we cannot guarantee that the item may be available for an exchange, however allowance will be given to exchange for another product of the same cost.
Export restriction
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
Return and Refunds policy The provision of goods and services by Zaptly is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Zaptly will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a R80.00 administration fee.
If you are for any reason dissatisfied with an item purchased from our website you may request a full refund or replacement of the same item, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 7 days of delivery.
You can log a return or replacement. The item will be collected via courier at no additional cost within 14 days of your receipt of the order, and have your purchase price, refunded.
On return of your order, you can decide to:
Have your account credited with the order amount or,
Request a refund into your credit card
Where you are returning the product due to the wrong order being delivered, damaged or defective goods,
and request a replacement – a replacement will be delivered to you at no additional cost.
Where goods are returned due to damage or defect you will have to provide a picture of the said items before a replacement item or refund can be authorized.
Customer Privacy policy
Zaptly shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or by bank transfer into the Zaptly bank account, the details of which can be found in the footer section of the site listed as Bank Details.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Zaptly via Payfast (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO Payfast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Zaptly separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO Payfast’s secure site. For more detail on DPO Payfast refer to www.payfast.co.za
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Zaptly takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Risk and Ownership
Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorised representative on delivery. We will retain ownership in the products until payment has been received in full.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Zaptly chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature 161 Tenth Avenue, Morningside, 4000, Durban, KZN.
Variation
Zaptly may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
